Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Assembly Operative to join our well established client.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the assembly of quality tapping tees and purge tees that meet specification, in the safest most efficient manner with minimal delay and waste.
- Carry out duties required whilst contributing to the on-going improvement of process and product.
- Comply with company systems and procedures for health, safety and environmental control including auditing, near miss reporting and inspections.
- Ensure process is running to target, highlighting when they are not to Line manager.
- Assemble and pack product.
- Ensuring that any defective parts are correctly segregated.
- Provide absence cover where required to maintain a continuous output.
- Take an active part in improvement activities within area.
- Prepare work orders, bar codes, labels and SOC’s.
- Enter accurate completed work receipts and data sheets onto MRP system.
- Ensure QA samples are submitted in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Good safety awareness with experience of safe systems of work, including waste handling procedures.
- A self-motivated individual with the flexibility to adapt and a willingness to develop new skills.
- Experienced in working to and following work-based Procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to make a positive contribution to a team.
Salary: £27,277 Per Annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
