Bench Joiner
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Bench Joiner to join our well established client. The role involves the manufacture and assembly of components in a workshop environment, working from drawings and specifications to produce high-quality finished products.
Job Duties:
- Manufacture and assemble joinery items in the workshop
- Read and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
- Prepare materials including solid timber and sheet materials
- Assemble, fit, and finish joinery components to required standards
- Carry out basic quality checks on completed work
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Work as part of a team to meet production schedules
Requirements:
- Completed apprenticeship in joinery
- Previous experience as a bench joiner or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery
- Attention to detail and quality-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: £15.00 - £15.50 per hour + overtime.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
