Business Development Manager
Full Time | Permanent | £40,000 per annum | Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm

Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to recruit a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to help grow their customer base and strengthen existing key accounts.

The Role
You’ll play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with trade customers, and delivering consultative, solution-based sales support.
Working closely with production, design, and operations teams, you’ll help provide bespoke solutions tailored to customer requirements while managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities within target sectors
- Building and managing a strong pipeline of prospects and leads
- Developing long-term relationships with trade customers and key accounts
- Promoting a wide range of products, display hardware, and bespoke solutions
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored customer solutions
- Attending industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
- Conducting market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities
- Preparing and delivering professional sales presentations and proposals
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
- Strong consultative and solution-based sales experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage bespoke projects and complex customer requirements
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Self-motivated, driven, and results-focused approach
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience working with trade clients or resellers would be highly advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
