An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing packaging and fulfilment business.
We are looking for a proven sales professional from the packaging industry who can identify new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships and drive revenue growth across a range of packaging solutions.
The Role
- Develop and win new business within the packaging sector.
- Identify and target new customers across relevant markets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to securing the contract.
- Understand customer requirements and work with internal teams to develop the right packaging solutions.
- Generate leads through proactive business development, networking and market activity.
- Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio where required.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
About You
- Essential: Proven experience within the packaging industry.
- Strong track record in B2B sales and business development.
- Confident winning new business and developing existing accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially driven with a strong desire to achieve targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently.
- Knowledge of packaging products, solutions and the wider packaging market.
- Full UK driving licence.
