A leading demolition and civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Demolition Site Supervisor to oversee demolition and deconstruction works across the North West.
Based at Trafford Park, Manchester, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced demolition professional to take responsibility for supervising site teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
The Role
As a Demolition Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of demolition and deconstruction works, ensuring high standards of Health & Safety, quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise demolition and deconstruction works across the North West.
- Lead and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors.
- Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with RAMS and company procedures.
- Monitor site progress and ensure works remain on programme.
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
- Carry out site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks.
- Monitor Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
- Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, clients and other site personnel.
- Identify and report any issues affecting programme, safety or productivity.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
- Ensure all works are completed to the required standards.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Demolition Site Supervisor with a strong background in demolition and a proven ability to supervise site teams.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within the demolition industry.
- Strong knowledge of demolition and deconstruction methods.
- Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements and RAMS.
- Gold CCDO Card – essential.
- NVQ Level 4 or Level 5 in Demolition – essential.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel across the North West.
