Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Buxton
Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3:00pm, Friday 6:00am – 11:00am
Overtime: Available Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings
Starting Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our well established client.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, electrical fault finding, testing and repairs across a range of industrial production machinery and control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical maintenance and fault finding on industrial machinery
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Working with 3-phase systems, PLCs, VSDs, MCCs and control systems
- Electrical testing and inspections
- Supporting continuous improvement and reducing machinery downtime
- Working safely in line with site procedures and regulations
Requirements:
- Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Experience fault finding on automated production equipment
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Full UK Driving Licence and own transport due to location
