Our client is a well-established and innovative manufacturer of advanced electronic instrumentation used across a range of industrial and environmental applications worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their skilled production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with assembly or manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a precision-focused environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products.
The Role:
As an Electronics Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of electronic and mechanical components, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Working as part of a supportive and experienced team, you will play an important role in delivering products that are used in critical industrial applications around the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly of electronic and mechanical products using hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Testing and inspection of completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Following technical instructions, drawings, and work procedures accurately.
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Supporting departmental targets relating to quality, delivery, and productivity.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or engineering environment.
- Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Basic understanding of electronics, electrical assembly, or mechanical assembly processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- The ability to follow instructions and technical documentation accurately.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn new skills.
