Engineering Operative

- Salary: £27,500 per annum + overtime
- Working hours: Regular days, Monday to Friday
The Role:
We are recruiting for an Engineering Operative to join a successful manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, where you'll be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, inspecting, and packing high-quality products while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Manufacture, assemble, and pack products to specification.
- Carry out quality checks and product measurements.
- Assist with machine set-up and basic fault finding where trained.
- Complete production paperwork and data entry accurately.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement activities.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and report any hazards or issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within manufacturing, production, assembly or machine operating.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Flexible approach and willingness to learn.
