Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced European Sales Manager to develop and grow their European distribution network and industrial customer base.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused and results-driven individual with strong experience in industrial products, distribution channels, and solution-based sales.
The Role
As European Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth across Europe by developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering value-led sales solutions.
You will work closely with distributors, OEMs, contractors, engineering consultants, and end users while collaborating internally with Production, Customer Service, and Quality teams to ensure exceptional customer support and long-term commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and grow regional distribution accounts across Europe
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within industrial markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, contractors, consultants, and end users
- Develop and implement strategic territory and sales growth plans
- Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline and CRM database
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and sales meetings across Europe
- Deliver solution-based and value-driven sales approaches tailored to customer requirements
- Work closely with internal departments including Production, Customer Service, and Quality
- Support customer issue resolution while maintaining high service standards
- Attend trade shows, supplier events, and industry meetings as required
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within industrial sales or industrial distribution
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling industrial products and solutions through distribution channels
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Commercially driven with a proactive and strategic mindset
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Comfortable working remotely and travelling extensively across Europe (up to 50%)
