Your Role
As an Extrusion Operative, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring extrusion production lines to ensure high-quality output and efficient production performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and troubleshoot extrusion production lines to required specifications
- Visually inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met
- Prepare and assemble components for machinery
- Package products in line with customer procedures
- Carry out general production duties and departmental cover as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
- Support production management with continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience with thermoplastic and/or extrusion processes
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Proactive and self-motivated approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- Understanding of safe systems of work and waste handling procedures
- Flexible approach to supporting different production areas
Working Hours
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
- 7:00am – 7:00pm (days)
- 7:00pm – 7:00am (nights)
