Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our well established client.
Job Duties:
- Operate the extrusion and pelletising lines in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Load raw material into the extrusion machine and remove finished product.
- Set, adjust, start up, and shut down extrusion equipment.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Monitor extruder runtime and production output (kg of PP pellets per shift).
- Complete production checklists and defect reports.
- Identify and record non-conformances, defects, or production issues.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and assist in performance enhancements.
Requirements:
- Extrusion machine operation experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Commitment to Health & Safety best practices.
- Willingness to adapt to varying responsibilities as the company evolves.
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 Per Annum.
Working hours: 3:30pm - 11:30pm Monday to Friday.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
