Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to join our well established client. The successful candidate will help in overseeing the Health Safety activities at two sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- With the aid of the H&S Manager the successful candidate will ensure all aspects of Health, Safety are adhered to.
- Alongside the H&S Manager they will also work closely with the Site Manager and Operations team to achieve site action plans.
- Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators against targets and advise site team of appropriate/necessary actions required.
- Liaise with Site Management team in the implementation of sites environmental and safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc).
- Implement company policy at all times i.e. compliance with regulations and permits.
- Offer guidance and support to the Site Manager and Operations Team.
- Attend Monthly H&S meetings with the Site to gain knowledge of current issues affecting the production environment.
- Support the H&S Manager with all aspects of the role.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH National General certificate – essential.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) – desirable.
- Any environmental qualifications – desirable.
- IOSH Working Safely – desirable.
- National Compliance and Risk Qualifications - desirable.
Salary: £30,244 to £35,084 Per Annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
