HGV Fitter
Location: Sheffield
Salary: up to £60,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm & 7:00am – 12:00pm on Saturdays when required

The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced HGV Fitter to join an established waste management operation in Sheffield.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Fitter looking for stable, permanent employment, strong earning potential and consistent Monday – Friday hours, with overtime available.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a wide range of HGV Vehicles.
The Role:
- Maintaining and repairing the fleet of DAF skip trucks, roll-on/roll-off vehicles, grab lorries, tippers, artics, walking floors, and company vans.
- MOT preparation and presentation.
- Vehicle diagnostics and routine servicing.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, replace wheels, re-torque fixings, and handle running repairs.
- Support colleagues, work as part of a team, and pitch in with other areas of the business when required.
- Complete all relevant job cards and service paperwork accurately.
About You:
- Previous experience as a HGV Fitter.
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy mobile plant.
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Reliable, practical and safety-conscious.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Time served & apprentice trained.
Salary: up to £60,000 per annum (Depending on experience).
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm & 7:00am – 12:00pm on Saturdays when required.
