Installation Operative
About the Role
We are looking for an Installation Operative to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role installing and repairing flagpoles, signage, and metalwork at customer sites across the UK.
The role involves regular travel, working outdoors, working at height, and occasional overnight stays. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to develop practical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and repair flagpoles, signage, and metalwork.
- Travel to sites across the UK using company vehicles.
- Work safely at height and follow Health & Safety procedures.
- Load, unload, and handle tools and materials.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
- Attend training and support colleagues as required.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable:
- Previous installation or construction experience.
- CSCS Card.
- IPAF Licence.
Hours & Pay
- 42 hours per week
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Salary: From £28,239.12 per year
