Land Surveyor – Altrincham
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Land Surveyor to join a growing team working across a wide range of engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects throughout the UK.
This is a hands-on role offering the chance to work on diverse and technically challenging projects, using modern surveying equipment and software to deliver accurate data that supports key development work. You’ll be part of a team that values precision, quality, and professional growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out topographical, boundary, and construction surveys
- Setting out works including buildings, roads, and infrastructure
- Establishing control points and survey networks
- Producing detailed CAD drawings, site plans, and as-built surveys
- Processing and analysing survey data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment
- Liaising with engineers, contractors, and project teams
- Completing quality checks and producing survey reports
- Working across varied sites, often travelling and working away from home
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in land surveying
- Strong knowledge of topographical and construction surveying methods
- Experience working in varied and complex site environments
- Ability to process survey data using industry software
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS card
Desirable:
- CAD experience
- Microsoft Word proficiency
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- SSSTS qualification
