Legionella Risk Assessor – Glasgow
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused professional to join a growing Water Hygiene team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about water safety, compliance, and environmental protection to develop their career within a specialist consultancy environment.
You’ll play a key role in helping clients maintain safe water systems and meet UK regulatory standards, carrying out site-based inspections, audits, and water hygiene checks across a range of commercial and industrial environments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out water system risk assessments and site inspections
- Completing audits of water hygiene management and monitoring systems
- Undertaking routine water hygiene tasks including flushing, temperature checks, and sampling
- Producing clear, accurate reports and maintaining high compliance standards
- Working both independently and as part of a supportive technical team
- Travelling to client sites as part of your day-to-day role
What we’re looking for:
- City & Guilds qualification in risk assessment (water hygiene)
- Strong understanding of UK water hygiene legislation and guidance
- Experience with complex water systems and control measures
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Good report writing and IT skills (Word & Excel)
- Ability to pass enhanced security checks where required
