Maintenance Engineer

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our well established client. 
Responsibilities:
	- Working safely at all times, escalating issues that present a hazard to yourself or others including all persons on site or members of the public. 
- Following company / local site rules and adherence to company values. 
- Respond to breakdowns, systematically find faults, identify root cause and then implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Carry out planned maintenance and identify continuous improvements to increase equipment efficiency.
- Work with production, support groups and suppliers to implement improvement opportunities to increase equipment efficiency and safety and reduce engineering downtime.
- Identify and implement improvements to equipment to increase process robustness and reliability.
Requirements: 
	- Multi-skilled to some degree with credible, demonstrable electrical and / or mechanical experience in an industrial environment.  
- Qualified Mechanic / Electrical / Multiskilled having served a recognised apprenticeship.
- Pneumatics, hydraulics demonstrable on the job experience is a requirement. 
- Minimum NVQ level 3 / BTEC / City & Guilds. 
- Experience & understanding of an automated process environment is essential.  
- PLC / Scada / Controls understanding & experience.

Salary: £41,903 - £45,100 Per Annum.
