Operations Scheduler
Starting Salary: £25,475 - £35,076 experience depending.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Scheduler to join a busy production environment. You will be responsible for coordinating stock, scheduling production and ensuring smooth communication between production, warehouse, operations and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule daily production to meet customer demand.
- Manage stock levels, cycle counts and material requirements.
- Process orders and ensure materials are available within supplier lead times.
- Maintain accurate rolling production plans and production records.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to support on-time deliveries.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve issues and provide updates.
- Monitor production figures and input relevant data into internal systems.
- Deal with invoice and delivery queries.
- Ensure products and services are delivered accurately and on time.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, stock control or operations.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Confident working with numbers and Microsoft Office.
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, logical and solutions-focused approach.
