Paint Sprayer

- Salary: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour
The Role:
We're recruiting for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.
This role involves preparing and applying protective coatings to fabricated steel using a range of industrial spray equipment. You'll be responsible for producing high-quality finishes while working to C3-C5 corrosion protection standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including masking and finishing.
- Apply industrial coatings to C3-C5 specifications.
- Operate airless, air-assisted airless and conventional pressure pot spray equipment.
- Mix and apply two-pack paints, including epoxy primers.
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure coatings meet specification.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer.
- Experience using airless, air-assisted and conventional spray systems.
- Knowledge of two-pack paints and epoxy primers.
- Experience working to C3-C5 coating standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work from technical specifications.
Working Hours:
The working hours for this position are 40 hours per week, with a mix of days and afters shifts available:
Days: 6am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
Afters: 2pm – 12:30am, Monday to Thursday. This working pattern includes a 20% shift allowance.
