Pelletiser Production Operative
Location: Matlock, Derbyshire (DE4 4BZ)
Pay: £16.08 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shifts: Rotating shift pattern
We are recruiting Pelletiser Production Operatives to join a brand-new production operation in Matlock. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the commissioning and operation of new pelletising machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor new pelletising plant and equipment.
- Process limestone and calcium carbonate into finished products.
- Carry out quality checks and record production data.
- Support the commissioning and development of the new plant.
- Identify and report equipment or process issues.
- Maintain high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safe working practices.
About You:
- Manufacturing, quarrying, aggregates, minerals or engineering experience desirable.
- Strong practical and mechanical aptitude.
- Good attention to detail and communication skills.
- Positive "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working rotating shifts.
