Production Manager
Starting Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (DOE)
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Production Manager to join our well established client.
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations related to production, ensuring efficient processes, high-quality output, and driving OTIF. This role involves managing teams, optimising production, maintaining safety and quality standards within a fast-paced factory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Execute daily production plan to align with customer demand.
- Monitor workflow across departments such as CNC machining, manufacture, painting and assembly.
- Ensure all products meet required specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. Work with Technical / Quality team to effectively RCA on NCR’s.
- Supervise and lead production teams. Lead tier meetings and champion SIC drumbeat.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste (Lean principles).
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee maintenance of all machinery.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Control production costs, labour efficiency and material usage.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, defects, or delays.
- Maintain production reports, KPIs, and perform.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a Production Manager or Supervisor role within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Track record of driving improvements within a growing business. OTIF, OEE, Scrap reduction.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (desirable).
