Production Shift Leader
- Starting Salary: £36,231.33 per annum.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, alternating weekly shifts, 6:00am – 2:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:00pm.
- Full Time, Permanent.
We are recruiting for an experienced Production Shift Leader to join our well established client. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader to manage production teams, drive operational performance, and ensure the safe, efficient delivery of production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, coach and develop production teams to achieve productivity, quality, and safety targets.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and promote a positive safety culture.
- Manage team performance, attendance, training, and development.
- Coordinate shift activities to meet production schedules and KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Complete production reporting and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with other departments to support operational performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Production Shift Leader, Team Leader, or Supervisory role within manufacturing.
- IOSH qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is advantageous.
- Positive, proactive, and able to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
