QHSE Manager
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 2:00pm
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to take ownership of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards across a single manufacturing site.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will act as the main QHSE contact, working closely with the Technical Team and Production Operators to maintain compliance, drive continuous improvement and promote a positive QHSE culture across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all QHSE matters across the site.
- Manage and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Support the Technical Team with internal and external audits.
- Work closely with operators to promote safe working practices.
- Drive continuous improvement across all QHSE functions.
- Carry out risk assessments, investigations and corrective actions.
- Monitor QHSE performance and report to the General Manager.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a QHSE or HSE role.
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
- Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Experience supporting and managing audits.
- Manufacturing or engineering experience would be advantageous.
- A hands-on approach with strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
