Service Engineer
£29,120 - £31,200 per annum + Company Vehicle + Overtime + Benefits
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering business delivering industrial surface preparation, blasting, peening and dust extraction equipment to customers across the UK.
This is a hands-on role involving the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of industrial machinery at customer sites. You will play a key role in minimising downtime, providing technical support, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The position includes regular travel and occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain and repair industrial mechanical and electrical equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on customer sites
- Install, commission and upgrade machinery and systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Complete service reports and technical documentation
- Provide excellent customer support and technical advice
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar
- Strong mechanical skills with electrical fault-finding ability
- Experience working on industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment or process systems
- Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships professionally
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexible approach to travel and occasional overnight stays
