Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting experienced Sewing Machinist's to join our well established client.
Job Duties:
- Operate Lockstitch and overlock sewing machine.
- Operate manual and mechanical cutting, eyeleting and similar equipment.
- Assist in the manufacture of sewn goods, this includes marking, cutting and sewing of various fabrics to manufacture a wide variety of sewn goods.
- Ensure work area and environment is kept clean, tidy and organised
- Packaging of goods for dispatch
- Adhere to good practice in relation to health & safety and working methods.
- Any other tasks reasonably required by management.
- To make basic Pattern
Requirements:
- Basic sewing skills.
- Ability to read and understand written pattern instructions.
- Willingness to teach, learn and develop.
- Can do attitude.
Salary: £12.22 per hour + regular overtime available at a good overtime rate.
Full time hours vary from 38 hours per week Monday to Friday.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position.
