Utility Surveyor
Location: Leeds (UK Travel Required)
Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annum
The Opportunity
We're recruiting for an experienced Utility Surveyor to join a growing surveying business. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure and construction projects using the latest utility detection and GPR technology, with genuine opportunities for career development.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out utility mapping and GPR surveys.
- Locating and identifying underground utilities.
- Producing accurate survey reports and issuing data to CAD.
- Carrying out quality checks on survey data.
- Working closely with clients, contractors and project teams.
- Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors where required.
About You
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years' Utility Surveying experience.
- Strong knowledge of utility detection and GPR surveying.
- Experience working to PAS 128 standards.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CSCS Card.
- Willingness to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays and night work.
Desirable:
- CAD experience.
- ProQual (NVQ) Level 3.
- SSSTS qualification.
